A Range Rover and a large lorry crashed into each other on a Swindon roundabout at around 10.30am.

The incident on May 2 involved a black four-by-four and an articulated Ulustrans articulated lorry on the A4311 Cirencester Way near Wickes.

The roundabout between the A4311 and Chapel Street was still partially blocked at 11.30pm, causing some disruption to traffic.

The AA reported: “A4311 Cirencester Way partially blocked, delays due to accident, a lorry and a car involved around Wickes. On the roundabout.”

A police officer at the scene said it was just a ‘minor incident’ and that the lorry had now ‘driven away’.
