JACK Hiscock, the driver of the Ford Fiesta involved in an accident on the A419 in May in which Jack Savage lost his life, has pleaded guilty to the charge of causing death by careless driving without due care and attention while under the influence of drink or drugs.
Hiscock, 24, has been disqualified from driving and will appear at Swindon Crown Court on 15 November for sentencing.
Judge Douglas Field told him: “You have pleaded guilty at the first reasonable opportunity and so the early guilty plea scheme will come into effect.
"I am disqualifying you from driving from this minute.”
