POLICE raided a small cannabis factory in North Swindon yesterday, seizing 40 plants as well as the equipment used to grow them.
The factory was located in a one bedroom flat in Rysy Court in Haydon End. Officers forced their way into the flat and found the plants, which had been harvested, dried and were ready to be sold.
No-one was arrested at the scene but police are making further enquiries to find the people involved.
The police were alerted to the property after a passerby reported smelling cannabis and that all the windows were blacked out.
With all drug related items seized by police, the flat has now been boarded up.
