Students at St Augustine’s Catholic College were in a celebratory mood on Tuesday as they arrived at Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath for their sixth form prom.
The girls appeared at the venue in elegant cocktail dresses, while the boys looked classy in their tuxedos and suits, with some even arriving in fancy cars such as a Rolls-Royce.
The evening included non-alcoholic cocktails on arrival and a three-course dinner, followed by speeches from the departing students thanking the teaching staff for all their help.
Head of sixth form Sarah Large said: “It was a wonderful evening. The girls looked very sophisticated and elegant in their cocktail dresses and trouser suits, while the boys were dashing in their tuxedos.
“We had group photo with the students and staff when everyone arrived and then we had a really nice three-course meal. The students then made speeches and gave small gifts to the teachers.
“They have been a fantastic group of young people, who are all dynamic and enthusiastic.
"It was a perfect way to celebrate all of their success and we wish them the best for their summer results and in the future.”
