Mums in villages near Malmesbury have no excuse for not keeping fit after a toddler group launched a class.

Now mums can get back in shape while their children play during the 45 minutes before Lea and Charlton Toddler Group gets properly underway each Wednesday morning during term time.

Mother of three Adele Brenner said: “It is not always easy for mums with small children to fit in exercise classes but this way they can do it without having to pay extra for for child care.”

The legs, bums and tum class is held from 9.30am in Charlton Village Hall under the instruction of qualified instructor Margie Knight, also a local mum. Mums who just want to do the class pay £4 or those staying for the toddler session pay £3.50 plus the normal toddler fee of £3.

Mrs Brenner said: “Some mums even come from Swindon as there is nothing else like it around.

“Some children like to join in the exercises too and they often join us on the mats or with the fitness bands.”
