POLICE are appealing for information about a series of fuel thefts from Sainsbury’s in Oxford Road.
The suspect is believed to have stolen a total of £300 worth of fuel during three separate incidents at the petrol station, where the driver is using fake registration plates.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 40s or early 50s and of large build.
He was wearing a bobble hat, dark top and jeans.
The suspect is believed to have used two different vehicles – the first car is described as a blue BMW and the second is a red Audi.
It is believed that false registration plates have been used.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Management Unit via the 101 number or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
