Devizes School’s first careers fair has been hailed a success.
More than 30 businesses were represented at the fair on Monday. It was held for school leavers to consider courses, apprenticeships and work opportunities.
The event was organised by careers staff Hilary Hampton and Jayne Chavez and Margaret Bryant, who is working closely with Devizes School on business mentoring for sixth formers.
Mrs Bryant said: “This business fair gave them the opportunity to speak to businesses, find out what goes on in the work world and also to meet ex-Devizes School students who are forging ahead in their careers locally.”
