POLICE have arrested and charged a man in connection with a series of fraud offences which occurred along the M4 in Wiltshire.
This follows an investigation into a number of incidents where a man was reported to be defrauding drivers by asking them to give him money to pay for fuel or to recover his broken down car.
Paul James, 46, from Bristol, was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of fraud.
He was later charged with 13 offences of fraud and has been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.
