Inquest resumes into ski death of Colerne schoolgirl
An inquest will resume today into the death of 10-year-old Jemima Prees who died while skiing off-piste in the Austrian Alps.
Jemima is believed to have crashed head first into a tree as she enjoyed the slopes with her lawyer father Tim and brother Barney in February this year at the Mayrhofen resort.
The schoolgirl from Colerne was wearing a helmet and was considered to be a good skier but it was reported she hit the tree at high speed.
She was airlifted to hospital in nearby Innsbruck but died later.
The hearing will take place at Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner's Court in Salisbury this afternoon.
