Challenge in memory of mother

The owner of Devizes Books is taking on a gym challenge to raise money for charity in memory of her late mother.
Jo Batchelor celebrated her 50th birthday in July but the surprise party arranged for her at the Conservative Club was marred by the death of her mother, Meg Simpson, just a few days before. Mrs Simpson lived near Winchester.
Ms Batchelor said: “She died as the result of having a weak heart so I wanted to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in her memory.”
Ms Batchelor will undertake what she calls a 4x4 Challenge, completing four circuits of the 24 exercise machines at Curves Gym at Roundway Hill Farm Business Park on November 18, adding another four at the end to make it up to 100.
She said: “I am fairly confident I can do it although I imagine I will be pretty shattered at the end.”
Anyone who would like to sponsor Ms Batchelor can do so by going to the website http://www.justgiving.com/owner-email/pleasesponsor/Jo-Batchelor or sign the sponsorship form at Devizes Books or Curves Gym.
