STAFF at two technology companies in Swindon came together to celebrate Pink Day last week.
Staff from CMS SupaTrak and TM Group, who work out of the same building in Westlea, dressed up in pink and held a cake sale to raise money for breast cancer research.
Kate Lloyd, marketing manager at SupaTrak, said: “We recently moved into our new building because we have grown and we have new neighbours so we decided we would all come together to try and raise money for Pink Day.
“Everyone came into work wearing pink in the morning and we had a cake sale where everyone brought in cakes which we sold.”
There was also a raffle with prizes such as iPhones and iPads donated by some of SupaTrak’s suppliers.
In total the companies raised more than £600 for the charity.
Kate said: “In terms of just bringing together two different technology companies to raise money together for charities was brilliant.
“We just wanted to do the best we could for the charity. It’s a charity close to every one of the staff.
“Everybody was pleased with how much money we were able to raise and it was a good opportunity to bring the companies together.”
