Visitors to Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade area board celebrated the town’s youth talent and success.

Frankie Scott, winner of Wootton Bassett’s Got Talent, was on hand to provide a sample of her winning performance by singing and playing her guitar at last week’s meeting.

Young people from the Youth Development Centre were awarded Peer Leader certificates by Wiltshire Council member Mary Champion.

The youngsters achieved the award with the help of local youth support teams.

There was also an update from young people of the Purton and Cricklade Youth Development Centre on their work, including a petition to reinstate the 53 bus and a presentation to school assemblies on the My Wiltshire mobile phone and tablet reporting app.

The minis and juniors of the Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club were also there, to welcome the board to their new Ballards Ash club house, with tours of the facility.
