NOT content with finding properties for renters across the Corsham area, HF Lettings has found itself a dream home after moving to new premises on the town’s High Street.

The firm, which was founded in 2006 when director Laura Larkin joined established estate agents Hunter French, moved out of its Corsham branch last month to a brand new site at 16 High Street.

Ms Larkin said: “It’s a fantastic location, and we’ve already had great positive feedback. We’re a separate company to Hunter French, and I think it’s imperative for estate agents and letting agents to work closely but not in the same office.

“Lets and sales are two very different businesses – lettings are about building long-term relationships with people, while sales are more about quick hits.

“We have got properties in common, they recommend us and we recommend them, but I have a team of four people that are here specifically focused on lettings.”

From offices in Corsham and Bath the company manages properties across Wiltshire, and into Somerset and Gloucestershire.

Ms Larkin said: “When we set this company up we said we would be the village property experts. We cover an area from Larkhall in Bath to Corsham, and anywhere in a 10-mile radius of that. We cover Box, Colerne, Marshfield, Batheaston, and down as far as Broughton Gifford and Atworth, as well as a few places in Chippenham.”

With its new office firmly in place, Ms Larkin is confident the local lettings market will continue to prosper.

“We’ve handled 10 to 15 properties already this year, so there are still people looking to rent.

“We are seeing a lot of tenants choosing to buy at the moment, but because of where we are we will always have people wanting to rent.”
