Devizes-based computer software company Cardwave, a leader in flash memory solutions, has announced two appointments to its team to help to grow the business in 2014.

Tim Norris joins as business development manager, with a wealth of experience in technical sales and product management, while Emma Charlton is the marketing and communications manager.

Chief executive Paul Nor-bury said: “I am delighted to welcome Tim and Emma to our management team, to help promote and expand the business further.

“Tim will take responsibility for growing the business. He brings an in-depth knowledge of embedded computing technologies and working with customers in mission-critical applications across many sectors, including aerospace, rail and automotive.

“He will work with key partners, suppliers and customers to develop a successful mutual business.

“Emma has a wide range of experience working within growing organisations across numerous sectors. She is CIM qualified and has been recognised as a finalist in an industry social media marketing award this year.

“She will take overall responsibility for managing everything relating to the marketing and communication needs across all platforms”.

Cardwave has won two new large contracts in the automobile and service sectors.

From its HQ on Hopton industrial estate in Devizes, it works with global customers of all size, providing expertise in flash memory, manufacturing and supplying robust memory cards and similar devices for industrial processes.
