POLICE are seeking the public’s help in tracking three people who subjected a man to a violent attack as he walked through the town centre.

The incident took place at approximately 6.30pm on Friday, April 18 in Harding Street, when the 35-year-old victim was attacked by two men and a woman.

The victim suffered defensive injuries to his arms and required medical treatment by paramedics at the scene.

He was then allowed to go home.

The woman involved is described as around 25 years old, mixed race, 5ft 7ins tall, of a slim build with black curly hair. She was wearing tight blue jeans and a brown jacket.

One of the men is described as a white male, around 6ft 1in tall, approximately 28 years old, of a medium build with grey and brown medium length hair. He was wearing a white top.

The second male is described as an Asian male, around 5ft 9ins tall, approximately 26 years old, of medium build with brown curly hair. He was wearing a brown jacket.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at this time or who witnessed the assault.
