Players from Bath Rugby Club are regular visitors to the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Warminster, where they receive oxygen therapy to help heal sports injuries.

South African flanker Francois Louw visiting daily for a sports injury incurred during Bath’s win over London Irish at Reading. During this season, the hyperbaric oxygen chamber has also been used by other Bath players, including Rob Webber, Jonathan Joseph and Alafoti Fa’osiliva, who have suffered injuries such as ligament strains and sprains.

Centre manager Rosie Eliot said: “Many of our members who use oxygen therapy regularly for their MS, sports injuries or cancers have been surprised to find a six-foot-five rugby player in the chamber with them, but everyone is thrilled to have them at the centre.”
