A Melksham supermarket is urging shoppers to suggest a new charity for it to support over the next 12 months.
Last year the staff and customers at the town’s Sainsbury’s store raised £7,500 funds for the West Wilts Special Needs Activity Scheme, but it is now looking for a new charity partner.
Good causes can be nominated in store, or online at www. sainsburys.co.uk/localcharity, before voting closes on Sunday.
Store manager Mark Ogborne said: “We’re looking forward to supporting a local charity which touches many of our customers and colleagues’ hearts.
“The scheme gives us the chance to make a real difference to important causes in the community and we hope our customers get behind this year’s voting stage and nominate their favourite local charity.”
