A man was airlifted to the Royal United Hospital in Bath after two cars collided in Southwick Road, North Bradley, Trowbridge, just before 9am today.
The man, who was the passenger in a Morgan Plus 4, was air lifted by the Great Western Air Ambulance to the RUH with what are described as serious injuries.
The Morgan Plus 4 was being driven by a woman, who was also taken to hospital, and was in collision with a Citroen C3 driven by another woman.
The road, now reopened, was closed from the junction of Church Lane to the Wynsome Road Junction of Blind Lane.
The woman driving the Citroen was also taken to hospital by road ambulance with minor injuries.
A Wiltshire Council highways team dealt with some oil spillage.
