Ex-Devizes mayor in charge denial
Former mayor of Devizes Tim Price has pleaded not guilty to sex offence charges involving a teenage boy.
Price, 56, of Waiblingen Way, Devizes, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Friday and entered not guilty pleas to one charge of gross indecency with a boy under 16 and four counts of indecent assault.
The alleged offences date between February 17, 1974, and February 17, 1980.
Price was released on conditional bail and the case was adjourned for trial on November 10 at Salisbury Crown Court.
