Open days feature chemical free agriculture at Calne farm

Open days are being staged by Shumei Natural Agriculture at its demonstration farm in Yatesbury, Calne, on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be tours of the farm at 11am and a presentation of the Natural Agriculture method, which avoids use of all chemicals, fertilisers, animal manures, pesticides and other additives.

Admission is free with lunch and Japanese tea ceremony at £13. There will also be a Japanese Taiko drum performance.
