PLANS for a complex for elderly people have been unveiled for land just north of Grovelands Way in Warminster.
According to developers Tanner and Tilley, the outline planning application they have put together will provide “a range of accommodation and facilities to meet the needs of elderly people in an attractive, secure environment”.
Warminster councillor Pip Ridout said: “I am extremely disappointed by this as it looks like the one remaining green space in the west of the town could be developed on.
“I will be going to the consultation along with residents, where we will be asking very pertinent questions.”
The public consultation on the proposals will take place at the Civic Centre on Tuesday, August 2, between 4pm and 7pm.
Anyone from the area can attend the meeting.
