GOLFERS who got in the swing for a charity day have raised more £2,347 for good causes.
The event organised by APT Electrics of Devizes raised £1,173.50 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and last week director Andy Trusler and contracts manager Richard Fletcher handed over a cheque to staff at the helicopter base in Devizes.
Tournament organiser John Beal said: "On the 5th May at North Wilts Golf Club APT Electrics hosted its 4th annual charity golf day. A total of 18 teams of four players competed for the trophy raising a total of £2347.00 to be split evenly between Wilts Air Ambulance and Bag4Sport Foundation.
