Morrisons in Westbury have raised over £550 for charity at their third annual Christmas market event on Saturday (November 18).
A record turn out of around 100 people went to Paragon Hall to raise their bit for CLIC Sargent, a leading cancer charity for Children young people and their families.
Volunteers and local businesses manned 22 different stalls selling a variety of Christmas gifts and stocking fillers as well as face painting, a raffle and refreshments.
Community Champion at Westbury Morrisons, Lisa Litterick said: “I am absolutely thrilled with the amount of money we have raised for such a worthy charity.
“It was very busy and the atmosphere was buzzing, it was a brilliant day.
“The raffle went on until about 2pm and we were cleaned out of prizes which was great.”
A giant fluffy reindeer, the mascott from Leighton Recreation Centre in Westbury got into the fundrasing spirit and joined in with the fun.
