Increased demand from an expanding customer base has helped fuel growth of more than eight per cent year-on-year for the company, which was established by husband and wife team Jacqualine and Graham Bultitude in 1972.

“The new vehicle fleet completes our rebranding programme and will be key to building on our reputation as the top battery provider in the South West and to maintaining the high standard of service we provide to our customers as we grow,” said Tony Harrison, branch manager.

The company source batteries, including all leading brands from the UK, Europe and across the world for use in a wide range of all applications including cars, trucks, caravans, boats, golf caddies and the like.

BristolBatteries today has 5,000 commercial clients, covering the full spectrum of users from architects and project managers to Government departments.

In addition to the investment in new vehicles, BristolBatteries, which has other branches in Bristol, Swindon, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro, has also moved into new headquarters. The new office and warehouse space in Bristol is twice the size of its previous location, allowing it to meet increased demand for its wide range of batteries for both domestic and commercial use.
