DECEMBER 2 & 3 2006, LACOCK: Swap the chaos of the High Street for Christmas in the Cloisters in the historic setting of the National Trust's Lacock Abbey.

It's the largest event to date, with over 35 market stalls filled with Christmas gifts and festive fayre. From children's toys and garden gifts, to jewellery, fine wines and food, there's something to suit all the family.

Children can meet Father Christmas, have their faces painted and be dazzled by the magical talents of the amazing Kondini. The Warminster Brass Band will be providing favourite carols from 12pm-2pm on Saturday. On Sunday, classical music will be expertly supplied by Tea Break Quartet and a five-piece wind ensemble from the Warminster Philharmonic Orchestra.

Admission is £2, including National Trust members, and children are free. It runs between 11am - 3pm. For more details, call 01249 730141.
