DECEMBER 3 2006, BATH: The Friends of Bath Cats and Dogs Home will be holding a Christmas Fayre at the home in Claverton Down, Bath, on Sunday 3rd December from 11am - 3.30pm.

Visitors will have the chance to enter a Christmas raffle and the 1000 club lottery, they will be able to wonder around numerous stalls selling Christmas baskets and gifts, Bath Cats and Dogs Home calendars and gift mugs, books, bric-a-brac and refreshments.

For children there will be lucky dips, face painting, the chance to visit Santa's Grotto and much more, including a competition on the day for the best dressed fairy or elf, followed by a parade of festively dressed entrants.

Also, anyone who refers a friend for membership to the Friends of Bath Cats and Dogs Home will be entered into a free draw with the chance of winning a weekend trip for two in Pairs, provided by SJC Recruitment and Training.

The Friends of Bath Cats and Dogs Home was established in 1980 by animal lovers who decided to do something to directly support the Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

It is hoped that the fayre will help to raise vital funds towards supporting the essential services the Home provides in caring for all the animals.
