A NEW crackdown on anti-social behaviour in north Wiltshire has been launched.
Ian Whiteway has been appointed by North Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership with the aim of curbing problems across the district.
The new Partnership Anti-social Behaviour Reduction Officer's first campaign involves tracking down a gang of graffiti artists responsible for spraying LCC across 30 locations in Chippenham.
Ian, 37, a karate instructor and former police officer, said the graffiti had been found in London Road, Larkham Rise and had spread to other places including the picturesque Baydons Meadow.
He added that the grafitti clampdown would be the first of many campaigns in north Wiltshire to reduce anti-social behaviour.
