Harrison first home for Harriers
Several Chippenham Harriers ventured south to Devon on Sunday to
take part in the infamous Grizzly, a tough 20 mile multi-terrain race.
Starting and finishing in Seaton, the Grizzly is one of the most popular
multi-terrain races in the country, with places being filled up months in
advance.
Harrier Chris Harrison put up a brave effort to come 59th overall in 2
hours, 48 minutes, 40 seconds, with Neil Lewis (3:04:23) coming 166th.
Off-road specialist Brigid Browne ran well to clock 3:26:31.
There were 1,379 finishers with winner Lee Turner, of Torbay AAC, coming
home in 2:24:34.
