Watch out- ponies about
LARGE shield-shaped signs warning drivers of ponies and cattle on unfenced roads through the New Forest are going to be replaced in a bid to
reduce clutter in the landscape.
New Forest National Park Authority has given the go-ahead to new signs going up on the B3054 signage reduction pilot route between Lymington and Dibden for a year and says in due course
they will appear beside other routes with high animal accident rates.
The new signs feature a pony in a red triangle with a white message board below it and will be smaller.
