Saddle up to raise funds for breast cancer research
NEXT month will see the launch of a new horse riding event to raise funds for Breast Cancer Campaign.
Women of all ages are invited to mount up and gallop across Salisbury Plain for either eight or 14 miles - in their bras - as part of the Bra Back Ride.
Event organiser Rachel Hayes from East Grimstead said: "The Bra Back Ride is an opportunity to combine enjoyment of riding, whilst raising funds for breast cancer research, as well as emphasising the need to properly support your bust whilst taking part in all forms of exercise."
Breast Cancer Campaign director of fundraising Amanda Williams said: "Every year almost 46,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the UK. We believe that research is the start of the solution to build a brighter future for people with breast cancer. Supporters everywhere can do their bit by helping raise vital funds by taking part in The Bra Back Ride 2008."
This year's event starts at Tilshead, between 10am and 1pm on August 17. For information call Rachel on 01980 671305 or e-mail info@lessbounce.com.
