As a parent or carer, it can be very worrying if your child is ill. It’s often difficult to know what’s wrong because it can be hard for a young child to explain what they’re feeling.
We have a range of information on childhood illness to help you make the right choices for your little one.
The Birth to five childhood illness guide explains how to deal with common childhood illnesses such as colds and coughs, how to spot the signs of serious illness and how to care for your sick child. It includes information on dealing with infectious illnesses and advice on children’s medicines.
