Itinerary
Day One
Leaving the local area early in the morning, we'll travel to London, stopping en route in Windsor. Wander the pretty streets of this lovely riverside town or pre-purchase tickets to Windsor Castle, with its stunning state apartments. After the chance for an early evening meal, you'll head to your hotel for a good night's rest.
Day Two
After breakfast, we'll head to Buckingham Palace for our visit to the Coronation Festival. More than 200 Royal Warrant Holders - including tailors Gieves and Hawkes, chocolatiers Prestat, Hunter Boot, Royal Brierley Crystal and even Milborrow Chimney Sweeps - will be displaying their products. Watch cooking demonstrations and catwalk shows, browse the stands, talk to the craftsmen and perhaps even buy one or two regal items of your own.We'll leave the festival by about 4pm, and you'll have the chance to enjoy an early evening meal before returning to your hotel.
Day Three
This morning, we'll check out of the hotel and head into London's West End to explore our exciting capital at leisure. Take in the famous sights and marvellous shops, or the ever-changing new attractions and exhibitions. In the afternoon, you will head for home, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.
