Charlie-Anne plays in the Festival of Christmas tonight and she is also lending her talent to a charity gig for the homeless on Sunday.

The Christmas festival is to support local charities Step, Goldenhar and The Open Door Centre.  Along with Charlie-Anne the gig stars Vic Clements, The Story of Christmas, Tomi Fry, The Big Sing Thing, Open Door Choir, Swindon Young Musicians, Ovation Dance. Organised by Rotary Club of Swindon and Holmes Music.

The gig is from 7.30pm, in the Bath Road Methodist Church, Old Town, Swindon tonight. Tickets are £5. 01793 706484.

Charlie-Anne's other gig is on Sunday in aid of Christmas Cares charity.

The X Factor audition singer Puff Paddy is delighted that Charlie-Anne the open mic champion has agreed to sing and also welcomes on the bill: Dylan Qioniwasa, singer/songwriter, Nick Felix from The Hippie Club, The Stalkers Rock Band, Benji Clements, Daine Angel and Miyles Angel who scooped song of the week on BBC Radio 1. The MC is Shirley Ludford.

Christmas Cares provides shelter for the homeless over Christmas, giving them a hot meal, a place to stay, clean clothes and a chance for a hair cut, shower and health check.

The charity gig begins at 2pm on Sunday, in The Moonrakers, Cricklade Road, Swindon. Tickets are £6. For more details call 01793 721017.
