THE crooner is a man of style with a penchant for sentiment, romance, charm - and tap shoes.

So new show Crooners, at the Wyvern Theatre tonight, follows the story of three very British gentlemen who aspire to be suave, self-assured and stylish, as they revive the crooner tradition in the modern world.

Inject some comedy however - this musical show adds a very British sense of humour to the proceedings, with satirical energy, hilarious one-liners, laugh out loud silliness and superb musical numbers.

This rip-roaring comedy, featuring big band swing, has been wowing audiences with its wit, style and musical brilliance.

Featuring the nine-piece Mini Big Band, these Crooners feature songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole and Bobby Darin.

Look out for old favourites such as Lady is a Tramp, Come Fly With Me, L.O.V.E, When You’re Smiling, Fly Me To The Moon, Beyond The Sea, Mac The Knife any many more.

Tickets are £23.50. To book, visit swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481.
