Brighton outfit Two Spot Gobi have been touring Europe and the UK with Jason Mraz, appearing at Manchester Academy, Hammersmith Apollo and dates in America and Portugal. On Friday, April 10, the guys are heading for the 12 Bar in Swindon. Two Spot Gobi played at the Leeza Gibbons Aftershow Oscar Night Party at Mr Chows in Beverley Hills in February and are now touring the UK to promote their debut album, Everywhere You Should Have Been. The lead singer is James Robinson, a surfer who lapped up the West Coast sounds in his youth, particularly those of his music hero, Jason Mraz. The band got together at university and play unashamed summer pop. Tickets to the gig are £3. The support bands are Swindon’s HipRoute, Hayley Daviss and Shed. For more details call 01793 535713.
