White Horse Opera Company in Brush Up Your Shakespeare at Devizes Town Hall, St John's Street

A Wiltshire opera company has renowned singer Anando Mukerjee singing at its latest concert, Brush Up Your Shakespeare, on Saturday May 16 at Devizes Town Hall in St John’s Street. Anando will be singing with The White Horse Opera. Anando is a lirico-spinto tenor and his operatic roles include Rodolfo, the Duke of Mantua, Ishmael, Macduff, Pinkerton, Edgardo and Faust. He is also an accomplished recitalist. This year’s opera by White Horse in October will be Verdi’s Macbeth so in this concert the singers will perform pieces from that and other Shakespeare operas together with Cole Porter’s Brush up your Shakespeare.
