Wychwood Festival until May 31

Supergrass headline tonight at Wychwood Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The family friendly, mini Glastonbury is today and tomorrow.

Folk heroes Stornoway, who opened last year’s main stage, make a welcome return, and the headliners for this year’s Independent Stage are Dub Colossus tomorrow night.

Also on the bill are The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Irish folk star Cara Dillon and hip-hop outfit Free Peace.

Wychwood’s Big Top headliners are Red Light Company. Today sees The Bad Shepherds, a folk-come-punk project featuring The Young Ones/Bottom star Adrian Edmondson.

Leni Ward is dropping in promoting a new album called Body, and 1980s pop idols The Wonder Stuff are one of the big draws.

Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh, is on The Independent stage tonight. The electropop singer is winner of the BBC’s Sound of 2009 poll.

Her single New In Town is currently on release and was Radio 1 presenter Sara Cox’s record of the week.

John Jones and the Oyster Band perform on the main stage today.
