THE Johnny Cash Story will be told at the Wyvern Theatre tomorrow.

Performer Roger Dean has spent much of his life playing the music of the country and rock music legend known as The Man in Black.

Birmingham-born Roger, who is based in Norfolk, has spent his whole career in entertainment, working as a singer, actor and cruise director.

In 2004 he decided to turn his love of Johnny Cash into a tribute act, and tours the country with his band, The Lazy Boys.

The show tells the story of Johnny’s life, from his poverty-stricken childhood to his emergence as a star, and features hits such as I Walk The Line, Ring Of Fire, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Big River and comedy favourite A Boy Named Sue.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £19, and concessions are available at £17. The box office is on 01793 524481 and at www.wyverntheatre.org.uk, and Roger’s site is at www.roger-dean.com.
