Saxophonist Hayley Lambert will have a French connection to her lunchtime recital this month as she performs work from Fernande Decruck, a female composer writing in France through the jazz years of the early 20th century.
Hayley will be playing as part of the Swindon Recital Series at the Wyvern Theatre next Wednesday from 1.05pm to 2pm.
She will be accompanied by Swindon’s own professional concert pianist Paul Turner who founded the recital series 12 years ago.
The sax player studied at the Royal College of Music and has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra the Royal Ballet SInfonia and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
In Swindon her programme will also include work by Elliott Carter a post Second World War American composer.
