Art for jazz sake
Art Theman, renowned sax player (and, incidentally, a qualified orthopaedic surgeon!) is heading for Swindon tonight to play at Bakers Street in Wood Street, Old Town.
The 73-year-old sax man started playing with Jack Bruce from Cream and Alexis Korner in the 1960s and went on to form a musical relationship with Stan Tracey, playing with all of Tracey’s groups and touring with him all over the world. He plays tonight from 8pm.
It is a free gig.
