WHATEVER your style of music, there's something for you on the live scene this weekend.

Rockers have a choice of two top quality tribute acts, with just a few tickets left for Pink Fraud's show at Melksham Assembly Hall tonight.

The UK's top Pink Floyd tribute will also be appearing at Frome's Cheese and Grain tomorrow. Advance tickets are £11 from (01373) 455420 and doors open at 8pm.

However you may already have made plans to head over to Devizes tomorrow, where after seven years fronting The Rollin' Clones Mick Jogger, (aka Mark Smallman), is leaving the top Rolling Stones tribute band.

His farewell performance at the Corn Exchange, is bound to be an amazing evening. "It's been a fantastic experience singing with such a great band," says Mark. "We've played so many amazing venues in the UK and abroad and had a lot of fun along the way. There will be many memories and it is going to be so good to have the farewell gig in Devizes where we have had such tremendous support over the years. The Clones are carrying on with a new Mick and I wish them all the best.

"I will still maintain the Mick Jogger' persona and perhaps do a few lookalike gigs or solo spots, but I feel I need a change."

The change will include promoting his concept album One Step To Eden, a recording that has taken over five years to complete, as well as concentrating on his art, painting domestic animals, wildlife and human portraits and working towards producing sculptures, prints and trying different subject matter.

Mark will also be playing guitar with the up-coming international band Zeya Music, which features the stunning voice of local singer Zeya Phillips. The band, who have recently been in the recording studio, have among their next dates a series of gigs in the French ski resort of Courchevel and the mobile phone awards in London.

Tickets for Mick's Farewell to the Rollin' Clones are available from (01380) 725944. Doors open 8pm with the band on stage at approx 8.30pm.
