Former Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly said she was "dragged" from the altar to appear at the Olivier awards.
The actress, who presented an award at the theatrical bash, was filming a Kenny Everett biopic hours before the event started.
She said: "At the moment I'm filming something for BBC Four called the Best Possible Taste and in fact I've just been dragged off set."
She continued: "I play his wife Lee, I was about to marry him in Wandsworth Town Hall and they said, 'Katherine, it's four o'clock, you've got to go', so they had to put someone else in my wedding dress and she's married him and I've got to pick up the shot on Tuesday."
The star, who played mouthy Becky McDonald in Coronation Street, also said there had been talk of her starring in a film, but stayed tight-lipped.
She said: "I'm a good old Yorkshire girl in that I don't like to talk about things that are on tick.
"As my nana always said, 'Until you've bought it it's not yours', so until it's signed on the dotted line I don't like to talk about it".
