BE CHILLED

Tennent’s Lager’s hugely popular campsite service, Be Chilled is now open for orders.

Be Chilled allows T in the Park campers aged 18 or over to pre-order their cans of Tennent’s Lager and Magners Original Cider online and collect them, freshly chilled, when they arrive at the campsite over the weekend (July 8-10).

With less to carry to the campsite, fans are encouraged to reduce their carbon footprint and take the greenest and fastest route to this year’s festival by travelling with Citylink and Big Green Coach – T in the Park’s official transport partners.

Campers from Scotland who place their Be Chilled orders before the June 1 will automatically be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a VIP upgrade and complimentary bus travel to the festival from any location in Scotland, courtesy of Citylink.

T in the Park festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent’s Lager have announced a stellar line-up so far, including The Stone Roses, Calvin Harris, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disclosure, Bastille and LCD Soundsystem to name but a few.

Fans can get their hands on the ultimate festival ticket of the summer from tinthepark.com or by calling 08444 999 990. Pre-order your chilled cans of Tennent’s Lager or Magners Original Cider for the festival weekend now from tennents.com/bechilled

FAR HARBOR

Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC is out, bringing an entire new continent full of monsters, moral decisions and items just waiting to be scrapped for your settlements.

If you've travelled to Diamond City, met Nick Valentine and completed the 'Getting a Clue' quest in the main story, then you're all set for the adventure of a lifetime.

Regular readers of my column will know how excited I was about the release of Fallout 4. Work commitments have affected my gaming time, but since last November I've managed to get through about half of the story. I've set myself a target to complete the game before Mass Effect: Andromeda drops at the beginning of next year.

Considering I've wasted about 500 hours building settlements across the wasteland, I think I'm progressing nicely. I'm enjoying myself anyway.

I haven't downloaded Far Harbor yet. I'm excited about it, but I'm very OCD in that I'd like to complete more of the game before I head off to a new area - which by the sounds of things is absolutely massive and will continually test your moral compass.

On Bethesda's website, lead designer William Shen posted: "Everyone you meet has their own agendas and goals they try to drag the player into.

“Everyone has a sympathetic side, and a side that’s not-so-sympathetic, and you have to decide where you’re going to land. We wanted to include a ton of different options. Is it possible to go through with no one dying? Can you just decide to destroy everyone? Can you bring certain people to justice and drag out certain truths? Is it worth exposing this person if it means all these other people are going to be hurt?

"We give you a lot of tools and information that affects all groups, and then you have the ability to decide what you’re going to do with it.

“It’s fun to present the player with choices that will make them pause for a minute and think, ‘Is this really what I want? Can I live with the consequences or the cost?’

“We really wanted to introduce a lot more conflict, but we also wanted to make sure there were a lot of ways to end the conflict.”

It's going to be a while before I get round to playing Far Harbor, so if you get there before me, drop me an email or send me a tweet to tell me your thoughts.

MOVIE NEWS

- Jared Leto had a blast playing the Joker in Suicide Squad.

During an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the Oscar-winning actor claimed getting the call to play the infamous comic-book villain was "terrifying and exciting".

He said: "It was a real honour to get asked to play the part. These characters are so special to people and I have a lot of respect to that."

He added that it was the "most fun" he'd ever had on a film, and met with actual killers and psychopaths when preparing for the role.

Personally, I think he's going to be the best Joker yet.

Suicide Squad is due out this August.

- The second trailer for Paul Feig's Ghostbusters has hit the internet.

As usual, the trolls have come out in their droves to dislike the video and claim that the reboot has destroyed their childhood.

As I've stated before, I loved the original movies and I'm excited about this new instalment.

I've been waiting on female Ghostbusters since the 80s, so will be there in the cinema on opening night in support. I also adore the cast and want to be Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon's best pal, so I could be a bit bias.

From the trailers, it looks like a fun family film, so I don't understand where all the hatred is coming from.

If it's good enough for a Bill Murray cameo, it's good enough for me.

Dear trolls: Until you've seen it, get back under your bridge.

X-FORCE

X-23 (Laura Kinney) is one of my favourite Marvel characters, so I’m excited to learn that she could be making an appearance in the upcoming X-Force movie.

As the female clone of Wolverine, she’s got a regenerative healing factor, superhuman strength, senses, speed, agility and reflexes. She also has retractable adamantium-coated bone claws in her hands and feet. Cool, right?

Fandago asked Bryan Singer what the chances were of X-23 showing up in the movie universe, and the X-Men: Apocalypse director confirmed that it’s already on the table.

He said: “I have discussed that with the studio. I actually initially pitched the X-Force and the female.”

X-Force is an in-development spin-off film, believed to be R-rated, that will see a new team of mutants form.

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has described the project as his priority, however it’s still in the earliest script stage at the moment.

I’m super excited about the possibility of seeing X-23 up on the big screen.

I’ve followed her from perfect killing machine and assassin to becoming a loyal member of X-Force.

There's so many great female Marvel characters out there to choose from. As well as X-23, I'd love to see The Runaways and Heroes for Hire (2006) being green-lit for production.
