Violinist, Eleanor Corr, pictured, is returning to her roots in Wiltshire, to perform a concert at the start of a UK tour with Swedish colleague, Daniel Beskow.

The two musicians met in Salzburg in 2011 and have since created a successful partnership.

Eleanor began playing the violin in Wiltshire-based Super Strings Club, which shaped her desire to make music an important part of her life.

“Music learning was presented in a fun, engaging manner. We all loved playing music together,” remembers Eleanor.

Eleanor moved to Wells in Somerset with her family when she won a scholarship to study at Wells Cathedral School, one of the UK’s four specialist music schools.

Since age 17, when she was awarded a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, Eleanor is in great demand. Meanwhile Daniel has a reputation as one of Scandinavia’s most promising young pianists.

The pair will present Mozart’s Sonata in E Minor and Brahms’ Sonata in G major.

The concert is accessible to all, from classical music buffs to children.Tickets priced £8 adults, £3 children are available on 07708 289449.
