Trowbridge Arts is hosting three professional touring productions for all ages over the coming weeks, beginning on Friday at 7.30pm with Northanger Abbey, a performance for anyone over the age of 10.

Featuring just two performers, seven puppets and a vintage trunk, this version ignites the imagination and brings out every last drop of Austen’s wit, playfulness and humour.

On Saturday afternoon at 3pm there is something for families, in a new version of Monkey by Michael Rosen. Inspired by the classic Chinese epic story, this has string puppets, antique shadow puppets and live music.

On Thursday, November 27, the award-winning Pip Utton, one of the world’s leading writers and performers, brings one of Britain’s greatest heroes to life, drinking whisky, smoking cigars and listening to himself talk. Churchill tells of his childhood, his education, his marriage, his painting and writing and, of course, his many years at the centre of the political stage.

Tickets for all shows can be booked online at www.trowbridgearts.com or call 01225 765072.
