Following the publication of his autobiography, Only When I Laugh, and more than a decade of sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Paul Merton will take to the road again in 2015 with his Impro Chums, including a date at The Wyvern.

Paul and those chums – Mike McShane, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki Webster – take suggestions from the audience with the intention of spinning them into comedy gold, weaving fun and laughter together into a richly hilarious mesh of jollity.

Another well-known face coming to The Wyvern is X Factor finalist Amelia Lily, who will play the narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

She will be joined by fellow X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels, who has just finished a 2014 tour and reprises his role as Joseph in the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

Amelia, who was mentored by former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland, finished third on the X Factor in 2011, the year Little Mix claimed the crown.

Lloyd became the X Factor’s youngest contestant in 2009 and got to the final five out of 250,000 contestants to perform in front of 10 million TV viewers.

Paul and his Impro Chums will be coming to The Wyvern in Swindon on Sunday, May 31. Joseph is at The Wyvern from May 19 to 23. Call the box office for tickets on 01795 524481 or visit www.wyverntheatre.org.uk
