Trowbridge Town Hall echoed to the sound of world class folk music last week as Peter Knight’s Gigspanner returned to the County Town. Peter Knight, Steeleye Span’s ex fiddler, held the audience spellbound with his effortless dexterity, ably supported by guitarist, Roger Flack and percussionist, Vincent Salzfaas. Andrew Bryant, Artistic Director of Trowbridge Arts Festival was delighted by the audience response. “This was a mid-season event for Trowbridge Arts Festival in conjunction with Trowbridge Arts so we wanted to give music fans something very special. Trowbridge Town Hall is one of the finest venues in Wiltshire and has such a rich history of music, having hosted gigs by the likes of The Who and Cat Stevens. It doesn’t get much better than that, so we have a fine reputation we are keen to uphold!”
