Cherhill Village Theatre has chosen an evening of three one-act plays, all comedies, and all with an 'adult' theme - saucy but fun - for their spring production.

Hence the title Risqué and the fact that the audience will be restricted to ages 16 and above.

Risqué is produced and directed by Tina Jeary, a Cherhill resident, and it features cast members from the village and surrounding areas with a wide range of ages from late teens to 70s.

It is showing on April 30, May 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 7.30pm at the village hall, with tickets priced at £7.

There is also a gala performance on Sunday May 10 with supper in a cabaret seating setting, tickets for that evening are £15.

The three plays are 22 Hardcastle Court by Gary Diamond, Custard and Disinfectant by Jim Pinnock, and Fidelity Farce also by Gary Diamond.

Theatre member John Cavanagh explained: "The production is in memory of a former CVT member, Judi Willett, who passed away last year.

"She would have loved this production as she was a CVT stalwart with a great sense of humour.

"All proceeds will go to her favourite charity, Breast Cancer Care, and some of the participants in this production will also be undertaking the Moonwalk in May, again in Judi's memory."
