A GROUP of five local artists, Elemental Artists, present the exhibition Five Viewpoints at Venue No 1, 17 High Street, Dilton Marsh, on the eighth Wylye Valley Art Trail, a nine-day festival of visual art and craft in and around the Wylye Valley, which runs from May 23-31.

In addition to the artwork on show of paintings, prints, mixed media, jewellery and artists’ cards, the exhibition also provides an opportunity to watch demonstrations of printmaking, ranging from those needing a press to methods that can be done entirely by hand. Illustrated display boards showing a variety of printmaking techniques will also be on view. As always, individual artists will be on hand to talk about the ways in which their work has developed from initial ideas to the end result. Participating artists include: Jenny Ford, printmaker/painter; Jan Knight, printmaking/mixed media; Julia Leyden, acrylics/mixed media; Kerrie McNeil, printmaking/jewellery; Josephine Sumner, printmaker/painter. For visitors interested in learning even more about printmaking, information on courses will also be available at the venue. For further details see the WVAT website www.wvat.co.uk
