Finding a burglar in your home is most people’s worst nightmare, but it’ll be laughs all the way when The Western Players stage Eric Chappell’s comedy thriller Theft at The Arts Centre, Devizes Road, Swindon, nightly from June 17-20, at 7.30pm.
A couple and their guests return from a pleasant anniversary celebration to find that the house has been burgled and the intruder is still on the premises.
Some surprising revelations ensue, in a drama that may disrupt two apparently happy marriages and be the end of a formerly firm friendship.
Zena Howard directs this production, and the set is designed by Julia Edwards. The cast, currently hard at work in rehersal, includes Simon Crutchley, Shirley Dodson, Matt King, Susan Pearson and Chris Hall.
Tickets £10, concessions £9 are bookable now on 07575 711522 or e-mail boxoffice@westernplayers.co.uk To book online go to wegottickets.com and search for Western Players.
